Our mission

We exist to make specialty coffee approachable and sustainable for everyone. From ethically traded beans to inclusive hospitality, every decision is made to uplift growers, delight guests, and brighten our block.

Our story

Golden Bean Coffee began with a pop-up espresso cart and a big dream: great coffee without the attitude. Today, our café on West 34th Street is a cozy home for neighbors, commuters, and travelers alike.

  1. 2019 — The spark: Weekend pop-ups, local markets, and our first loyal regulars.
  2. 2021 — The doors open: We brewed our first shots in the New York café you know today.
  3. Now — Community first: Classes, cuppings, art nights, and a lot of cappuccinos.
